Getting right to the subject, I don’t watch porn. Just not my cup of tea. And I don’t even like tea. I do have one exception though.

Porn bloopers. They crack me up every single time. I’m not sure why this is, but something about people being so serious about engaing in wanton carnality for display and profit, and then botching the job so epically just sets me to laughing uncontrollably.

This is one of the better ones I’ve seen. It’s boring and pointless up until the end, so you can skip over to the 45 second mark, and watch from there.

I went back to my hometown of Huntsville the other day, where the newspaper is delivered with free samples of pudding (No, I’m not joking). Alabama can be an interesting place. Especially when it’s compared to someplace like New York.

On my way, a car in front of me started blowing white smoke from the hood. The driver pulled over, and against my better judgement, I stopped to help. I grabbed a bottle of water for her radiator, and stepped up to help. On the way, I noticed her license plate. She was from New York. Before I approached the door, I announced something about her needing some water. This is something you wouldn’t expect to elicit any hostility. But remember this is me we’re dealing with.

The driver stepped out of her door and immediately triggered a can of mace aimed directly at my face. I’ve learned many things in my life. One of the newest lessons is that it’s difficult to convince a woman that you’re not trying to hurt her while you’re disarming her of a can of mace. I took a glancing blow in the left eye as I dodged the stream, and will have ultraviolet dye on my neck for the next 4-6 weeks, but I’m not blind.

I like to think that I can take everything in stride. It is in this tradition that I not only helped the woman with her radiator, but I complimented her choice of mace, and taught her a better way of holding it to make the stream more accurate. Hopefully she will have changed her mind about people from Alabama.

From people who need to be maced, to people for whom mace is not enough. That’ll show her.

Widge sent me this with the message “Dude. This is the Siegest post in the history of Siege posts.” It’s good to know that people look out for weird crap for me to post, and even better to know that I’ve become an adjective.

We (almost) all love beastflesh, and eating things with a face is always good. But This place has taken it one step further. Food with a face, meet food that is a face. With the simple addition of not only a face, but a clown face, you can attack your cold cuts with that much more fervor.

Great idea? Or Greatest idea?

Yesterday morning I was making breakfast. A seemingly harmless task, save for the occasional unfortunate encounter with a live stovetop. I peeled the paper off of the can of biscuit dough, but didn’t pop it open, thinking that it would be better to prepare the potatoes before putting them in the oven. So I walked across the kitchen with a knife to cut open the potatoes. So far, so good.

Then the can of biscuits exploded on the counter. I spun around and speared the popped can with my knife from about 7 paces, and was left breathing hard and trying to come down from an adrenaline rush induced by something that sounded remarkably like a gunshot.

My first coherent thought was “Wow. Still got it.”
My second thought was “Wow. Am I really that jumpy?”
